Dana’s not-so-ordinary day - Digital book
It’s the start of summer break and Dana is on a roll. When beloved relatives come to visit, things are looking up for the young schoolgirl, but a series of events finally lead to a tough decision. Join Dana to discover how an ordinary day turns out to be not-so-ordinary after all. A faith-inspired tale of homelessness and empathy.
Behind the book:
This book was inspired by the voluntary work I have completed in the past supporting homeless people on the streets of Birmingham, England.
On many occasions the rough sleepers would recount how they felt unseen and ignored by passerby.
Through this book it is my intention to gently educate children about the issue of homelessness and reinforce the topic of kindness and generosity.
20 pages.
